We live and die at the cellular level. Today, science is discovering the irrefutable law of Nature that Doc Wheelwright taught in 1978, “Energy is everything.” In this case, we know that energy refers to the cells’ production of ATP (Adenosine TriPhosphate) by their unique ‘energy engines’ called Mitochondria. This same energy funds the life energy called ch’i in Chinese Medicine or prana in Ayurveda. In fact, ATP is the ‘funding’ for all life processes, and regarding the cells, it’s the energy that: 1) facilitates cell signaling of activities and immune alerts, 2) allows the passage of nutrients into the cell, 3) repairs DNA for optimal function, 4) constructs RNA to manage the DNA coding and biochemical life-processes, 5) repairs and maintains cellular integrity, 6) detoxifies metabolic wastes and xenobiotic0 chemicals, and 7) conducts cellular life-work.  All this life-enhancing power is governed by the cell’s innate intelligence.

When the cells work optimally then the tissues work optimally. When tissues work optimally then the organs and glands work optimally. When the organs and glands work optimally, the body lives in the optimal health of youthful vitality and adaptability. Thus, we do indeed live and die at the cellular level. And the cellular level is exactly where we must target our clinical nutrition to help our patients’ bodies correct their less than optimal health expressions.

Here is a synopsis of a recent research study. This study directly reflects Systemic Formula’s mission for 2011 – Total Support For Optimal Cellular Health. And this means that Systemic is your source for Graceful Aging protocols. Systemic, since it’s inception, has been a world leader regarding nutritional support of cellular health—cell membranes, organelles, nucleus and RNA/DNA. Now, when the time is so dire, Systemic is researching and developing herbal/nutritional formulas to address the most critical challenges that natural health clinicians face – cellular inflammation, free-radical damages, cell membrane integrity, mitochondrial support, DNA repair. Once again, we affirm that: Cellular nutrition funds both cellular energy and the myriad cellular functions that support life and the individual’s innate optimal health blueprint. Properly supported cells reward the body with graceful aging, accurate self-regulation and regeneration, clear thinking, and that feeling great ‘well-being’ everyone instinctively desires.

Let’s take a look at the following research study to discover a deeper cause of people’s ‘energy crises’ and how natural health clinicians are the vanguard of The Solution. In a tight correlation, AGING = DISEASE unless there is proper nutrition and cellular energy. Here we’ll look at cellular aging with the understanding that an “Aging Solution” is also a solution to the ever-burgeoning bucket of mitochondrial diseases that are responsible for the terrible health afflictions affecting millions of people today. We live in exciting times where the latest scientific research testifies, again and again, that nutrition and herbs are indeed the true medicine for human health.

Ready or not, the holidays are upon us and “Tis the Season to be Healthy” and jolly. This is perhaps the most difficult time of year for everyone not to over indulge in the scrumptious, delicious treats which are everywhere you turn. The ubiquitous nature of these sweet, sugary treats are unavoidable and my will power succumbs to the desires of my palate almost every time. What the heck, right! It’s the holidays, so splurging every now and then is quite all right in my humble opinion. Even as I am writing this week’s blog, one of my co-workers offered me one of her mother’s homemade, delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. Mmm mmm, it was yummy! Continue Reading »

As an aspiring blogger, I feel free to throw caution to the winds, to experiment with abandon, not to be constrained by consistency, or details on the page of the “How To…” book. Within my own limits, I  want to put forth the effort and energy to express an interpretation or style which is individualistic and idiosyncratic, knowing there is no public to please and no critics to placate. To throw caution to the wind so to speak. Continue Reading »

It’s that time of year again, when Christmas and the holiday season is in full festive swing. Any change of routine whether good or bad can be stressful and for some this is a rather challenging time of year. Traditionally, the holidays are known for bringing loved ones together to celebrate, enjoy one another’s company, to eat delicious foods and to be mindful of what the holidays truly represent. When I accepted my position at Systemic Formulas, I knew I had my work cut out for me. However, my liking a good challenge far outweighs my fear of failure. Failure is never really an option for me, because there is always something to learn no matter what you do or what happens to you. Good or bad, the lessons learned are usable for my growth, no matter how painful or ego-deflating- this is one of my philosophies in life. Naturally I prefer the good, but it seems like I learn and grow more when the process is fraught with crags and crevices. C’est la vie, oui? Continue Reading »

Now that winter is officially here in Utah, and for those of you who do not live here; this is based on when the first ski resort opens anywhere in the state. Yesterday, two resorts opened a couple of trails to start the 2010/2011 ski and snowboard season. Whoo – hoo !!! Also, this means this is the time of the year where the days are getting shorter and our exposure to sunlight is significantly less. In the late fall and winter is a time to be a bit more conscientious about our health and well-being for the obvious reasons. Continue Reading »

We can’t live without doing it. To say we take this for granted would probably be an understatement, except insofar if we are inhibited in any way from participating in this activation. We love this when it is clean and we wonder if there is such a thing in our world anymore. Probably, you are doing it right now. On average, we do it about 23,000 times in a day. You have it figured out, right? We do this about 600 million times in our lifetime. You have induced the wellness topic for this week…breathing. My blog is about some of the positive aspects health wise of deep breathing. Continue Reading »

Know Thyself…

Know thyself

“Follow your fancy to a life of dissipation; follow your mind to a life of hollow accomplishment; follow your heart to a life of fulfillment.

But how to know the difference? How do we discriminate among our inner voices? This is the wisdom which we culture for a lifetime, following the imperative of the Delphic temple.”

— Joshua Mitteldorf

There are many dimensions of this quote which provoke and inspire my interest to where we are going and what are we going to do individually and as a collective whole in the future. Research has always been a passion of mine. To enumerate all of the subjects is far too long to type as to where my tastes lie. Of course, my family and friends mean the world to me. All of the arts, sciences, philosophies and religions are just to name a few, the list goes on and on. I would love to hear from our readers on what you are following with your heart these days. The writer of my introductory quote is a fascinating and intriguing gentleman whom you may be familiar with already. Continue Reading »
